Flavorite (Victoria) & Katunga Fresh (Victoria)

January we wrapped up both of these Victoria projects for 2 of our regular Australian clients and will be heading home soon. They were great projects to start the year as they were two jobs which allowed RORO to execute both of our unique specialties. For Flavorite we completed phase 1 of a new 9.5 hectare greenhouse for tomatoes where we were hired for foundation, 930m of walls and 960+ concrete dollies. This was the 3rd time we have worked on Flavorite projects and we hope to return for Phase 2 as they continue to grow.

On Katunga Fresh, we finished a specialized flooding floor which allows a grower to produce tomato plants in a condition where water can be removed or added to the ground. These concrete floors involve unique slopes and angles and also extremely specific attention to drying times in the Australian heat to ensure not only quality but also effectiveness in their purpose.

We installed pre-fabricated concrete slabs here which act as a barrier to stop water from flowing into the next growing area. This floor was 8000m which was completed with the partnership of some local labourers.
